Why Do Entrepreneurs Struggle?

Great Day, Attractive Thinker! It Is a Great Day to Be Alive!
As an Entrepreneur, there are a lot of goals to be accomplished! Products have to be created, services must be provided, and customers and clients need to be served! When pursuing new goals, the mind must also be aligned with the goal in order for it to be accomplished. The mind is currently "set" to the current status of the business. When the conscious desire is to reach a new goal, the subconscious mind must be informed! Everyone has 2 minds: a conscious mind (this is the mind that you use everyday to get through your day) and a subconscious mind (this is where your core beliefs, true feelings, and emotions are).
When these 2 minds are not aligned, it presents a struggle. This struggle appears as a starting and stopping motion. You attempt to take action on your goal and you're actually stopped in your tracks. The conscious mind attempts to move forward on the goals that you have for your business, yet because the subconscious mind is not engaged in the process, it pulls you right back to where you were. It's just like getting dressed to go on a family vacation. You walk out of the front door to load up the car and you turn around and your family is still in pajamas, simply lounging around in the living room. You're moving forward, but they weren't informed!
In order to end the entrepreneurial struggle, the subconscious mind must be informed of your new goals. These new goals must become your new beliefs in order to become your new reality! Repetitive affirmations, vision boards, meditation, and visualization of your new goals are life-altering tools that imprint your new goals into your subconscious mind.
Your Attractive Thinker Assignment:
Create a Vision Board with Your New Business Goals!
Create a Set of Empowering Affirmations that Support Your Goals!
Meditate and Visualize Your Goals at Least 3 Times a Day!
Speak Your Goals with Boldness and Confidence Daily!
With daily repetition of these practices, you'll reach your goal in record time! You'll begin to spot opportunities that will help you to accomplish your goal. Unexpectedly, people will show up that have the exact resource that you need to accomplish your goal. You'll receive ideas that will expedite your goal and take you further/faster! Consistency is key!

Entrepreneurial Mindset 101 - A Positive Mindset Is A Powerful Skill To Develop

How often have we heard motivational speakers say that an entrepreneur must have a positive mindset?
Before I go any further, I want to discuss the idea of a mindset. We all have a brain. In that brain, we place our thoughts, feelings, ideas and our concepts. When you start your own business, your business will take a lot of your time. In addition, you will have to sustain that business for as long as maybe 3 years before you see a return on investment.
Their will be many times in which you will want to quit and you will not want to invest any more capital to keep your company afloat. To give yourself the best chance of sticking it through, you must develop a positive mindset. Developing a positive mindset can be acquired by:
1. Listening to powerful gurus or motivational speakers
2. Listening to uplifting music or music that makes you happy
3. Read positive books or quotes
4. Hang around positive people and strong-minded people
Once your mind is conditioned to focus on the positive perspective on any situation, you will be able to get through the tough and negative times easier.
Me personally, I have had my share of negative moments and times I wanted to quit. However, because of my positive mindset, I was able to get through the tough time and start collecting a lot of returns on my investments.
I started out as a broke college student with a dead end job. I worked on week-ends because I was a full time college student majoring in computer engineering. I had to keep my company afloat on the little paycheck I was collecting every two weeks. However, because I hanged around positive people and only surrounded myself with positive quotes on my walls, the negative times did not crush me.
Bonus Tip For Developing A Positive Mindset!
You must get educated. I recommend doing some research and educating yourself on the type of business or industry you will like to be a part of. If you are able to find out all the requirements it will take for you to succeed in your business, you will be able to brace yourself when the tough times happen.
Luckily for you, there are organizations of powerful business experts who offer free pieces of advise and information to those who are interested in building their own brand from scratch.

Why Entrepreneurs Need To Workout And Get Fit And Healthy

You wake up to the sound of that not-so-beautiful alarm.
It's early.
Still dark outside.
But, hey, this is what you signed up for when you decided to become an entrepreneur. So you soldier on.
Quick shower. Then you grab a bagel or some other sugar-laden or fatty snack on the way to work.
You arrive at work.
...
10am comes. You're hungry. And you're losing focus. Can't concentrate.
But it's all good. Why? Because you get your coins out and head straight to the nearest vending machine.
You buy your Mars bar, grab another double coffee, and get straight back to work.
Happy days.
Well, for another hour or so. Then it's back to feeling hungry and lethargic until lunch.
Lunch time arrives.
You get a bacon butty. Or something else nice and greasy. And a doughnut for dessert.
Back to work.
The sugar coursing through your veins. You feel great. Full of energy.
Until the post-sugar crash hits you.
HARD.
And guess what? It's only 2pm. You can't really afford to take another break. After all, you've got work to do. And you've already been so unproductive.
The thing is, now you're gonna be even more unproductive. You're just shattered. No energy. Can barely think.
How the hell you gonna come up with a new strategy? Or make an important sales call? Or conduct that interview? Or do whatever it is you need to do to make more money?
The answer?
There isn't really much you can do.
Sorry for sounding harsh. (Well, actually I'm not sorry. Best you hear the truth, right?!)
But at the end of the day, if your body and brain are living off junk food, then it's literally gonna be impossible for you to function anywhere near your best.
(In fact, I might have to get in touch with Tom Cruise... Could be his most impossible mission yet... )
Anyway, the point is this:
If you poured olive oil into a car, would you expect it to move?
Course not.
And the same applies to your body.
If you don't feed it properly, then you're not going to be at your best. And as an entrepreneur (or an executive, or just someone's who's very career-minded and ambitious) then that's gonna be a killer for you. Ultimately, it's gonna mean less money. And even complete failure.
Yet now imagine this scenario...
You wake up naturally after a good solid 8 hours sleep.
You feel refreshed.
You then put on your workout clothes, go downstairs into the lounge, and do a 20-minute workout.
Something quite challenging. Something that's gonna help you lose weight, whilst helping you tone up. Something that's gonna get you feeling great after you've done.
You then shower, before grabbing a nice healthy breakfast. Let's say oats with some blueberries, and a scoop of your favourite protein powder (which tastes just like milkshake by the way).
You then go to work. You're feeling great still.
And guess what?
You get a LOT done!
In fact, you don't even think about food again until lunch. You then eat a healthy lunch of your favourite meat in a wholemeal roll, with a side salad draped in your favourite dressing (you've gotta make a salad taste good, after all!).
You then go back to work. Now feeling even more energetic. Meaning you get even more work done.
You then have a quick snack. Either a smoothie with a few bits of veg and your favourite fruits to sweeten it, or a protein flapjack or something.
Carry on with work. Still feel great. Still getting lots done.
You then finish, go home, and have a meal with the family. Something healthy, but ending with a dessert of whatever the hell you fancy (you gotta stay sane after all!).
Then after spending the evening having fun with your spouse and kids, you decide to call it a night.
You get to sleep nice and relaxed.
Ready to have another great day tomorrow...
So, they're your two options in life.
Which are you gonna choose?

The Role of Vision in Business

What is man or woman without sight? And I don't mean sight with the eyes but a much stronger kind of sight - I mean vision.
If you really look at the human condition you will see that it is in the realm of the senses that we spend much time. We want to eat, we want to drink, we desire, we respond to stimuli around us - all of which are prompted by reactions with our senses for the most part.
This is all well and good, and indeed our senses - taste, touch, smell and sight are responsible for enjoyable things in our lives. How great it is to savour a delicious kind of food like an amazing tropical fruit, to enjoy a drink so tasty or to feel the sun's warmth on a glowing summer's day. How pleasurable to look at a sparkling ocean and to hear music being played. The sound of a grand piano, the pull from our middles of a violincello.
But really, these are the more basic of the human functions we have. Senses work only in conjunction with stimuli and if we are not careful, Pavlov's Dog can begin to best express our behaviours - conditioned and reflex. Unthought-out and rote. Reactive rather than inspired.
Business demands more than senses - more than just a relationship between external stimuli and our senses. Business demands something from the realm of higher human behaviour. It demands that faculty which lifts us above the mundane, demands the faculty which breaks through all 'ifs' and 'buts' and 'maybe's'. It forces from us a relationship with this faculty and says - "stay with me if you want to do well" - that faculty - is vision.
Vision is so important that it can't be understated.
We all love business - business is something excellent, it brings interaction with others, it brings exchange in terms of money. It can be demanding, it can be tiring, but like a tether of light and pulling us along - it is our vision, and our relationship to vision that determines, in many ways, how well we do.
The vision that we have in business is the same skill, the same type of focus that great men and women have had and developed all through their lives. Greatness in business and greatness in life have no separation.
Great people possess great vision - it is forged by the master craftsman of their will-power in the furnace of their minds. And great businesses require vision too.
So we really must nurture vision - every day we must return to the image we have created of our business and it's role. In a way, it is our businesses which create our worlds. Vision doesn't talk in shades of grey - it is always bright, strong and golden.
So your vision for your business could have been to establish a world-wide company - a network of trade, spanning the continents. Or your vision may be to create a product that brings more peace to the world. You may have set out to utilise technology to make people's lives better, or simply because you love technology so much that you just intrinsically know that you have no choice but to mould it into the most amazing shapes you can. Your vision may simply be to create a business which brings you and your family wealth and wellbeing - all of these visions are worthy. Strive on always with your vision. Take time, everyday to refresh it. Your own mind is the strongest tool you have - vision one of its great powers.
Even as we get older and things change all around us - vision remains constant - as long as we make it strong within us all the time. So do not worry, on those days where an important staff member quits, when the amazing product you've just got onto the market doesn't perform as well as you expected. When your tax bill is higher than you thought and when cash flow problems seem like a big hurdle - they aren't. Make your vision stronger and obstacles will fall away and your business, and all of your life, will grow strong and radiate life's excellence throughout.
Whatever your business is - try and nurture your vision - when days seem tough it is often vision that will provide fresh ideas and inspiration. People always talk about business plans - great. But you need the whole thing in your mind before any of that. You don't have to have every tiny detail but forge for yourself an image of excellence of what you want your company to be - it could be that you want to reach a certain goal this year with the business, it could be that you need to break into new markets, perhaps overseas, it could be that you need to grow your team and just get exactly the right people in place. Make your vision strong for it will outlive you. Never give up on your vision and it will never give up on you. Remember, in your vision is integrity and well-being - it is the highest of human faculties - make your business the highest it can be - it is within your ability to do so. Strive on and achieve. Light your vision and let it light you.

The 3 Decisions That Will Change Your Financial Life

There’s nothing worse than a rich person who’s chronically angry or unhappy. There’s really no excuse for it, yet I see this phenomenon every day. It results from an extremely unbalanced life, one with too much expectation and not enough appreciation for what’s there.
Without gratitude and appreciation for what you already have, you’ll never know true fulfillment. But how do you cultivate balance in life? What’s the point of achievement if your life has no balance?
For nearly four decades, I’ve had the privilege of coaching people from every walk of life, including some of the most powerful men and women on the planet. I’ve worked with presidents of the United States as well as owners of small businesses.
Across the board, I’ve found that virtually every moment people make three key decisions that dictate the quality of their lives.
If you make these decisions unconsciously, you'll end up like majority of people who tend to be out of shape physically, exhausted emotionally and often financially stressed. But if you make these decisions consciously, you can literally change the course of your life today.

Decision 1: Carefully choose what to focus on.

At every moment, millions of things compete for your attention. You can focus on things that are happening right here and now or on what you want to create in the future. Or you can focus on the past.
Where focus goes, energy flows. What you focus on and your pattern for doing so shapes your entire life.
Which area do you tend to focus on more: what you have or what’s missing from your life?
I’m sure you think about both sides of this coin. But if you examine your habitual thoughts, what do you tend to spend most of your time dwelling on?
Rather than focusing on what you don’t have and begrudging those who are better off than you financially, perhaps you should acknowledge that you have much to be grateful for and some of it has nothing to do with money. You can be grateful for your health, family, friends, opportunities and mind.
Developing a habit of appreciating what you have can create a new level of emotional well-being and wealth. But the real question is, do you take time to deeply feel grateful with your mind, body, heart and soul? That’s where the joy, happiness and fulfillment can be found.
Consider a second pattern of focus that affects the quality of your life: Do you tend to focus more on what you can control or what you can’t?
If you focus on what you can’t control, you’ll have more stress in life. You can influence many aspects of your life but you usually can’t control them.
When you adopt this pattern of focus, your brain has to make another decision:

Decision 2: Figure out, What does this all mean?

Ultimately, how you feel about your life has nothing to do with the events in it or with your financial condition or what has (or hasn't) happened to you. The quality of your life is controlled by the meaning you give these things.
Most of the time you may be unaware of the effect of your unconscious mind in assigning meaning to life’s events.
When something happens that disrupts your life (a car accident, a health issue, a job loss), do you tend to think that this is the end or the beginning?
If someone confronts you, is that person insulting you, coaching you or truly caring for you?
Does a devastating problem mean that God is punishing you or challenging you? Or is it possible that this problem is a gift from God?
Your life takes on whatever meaning you give it. With each meaning comes a unique feeling or emotion and the quality of your life involves where you live emotionally.
I always ask during my seminars, “How many of you know someone who is on antidepressants and still depressed?” Typically 85 percent to 90 percent of those assembled raise their hands.
How is this possible? The drugs should make people feel better. It's true that antidepressants do come with labels warning that suicidal thoughts are a possible side effect.
But no matter how much a person drugs himself, if he constantly focuses on what he can’t control in life and what’s missing, he won't find it hard to despair. If he adds to that a meaning like “life is not worth living,” that's an emotional cocktail that no antidepressant can consistently overcome.
Yet if that same person can arrive at a new meaning, a reason to live or a belief that all this was meant to be, then he will be stronger than anything that ever happened to him.
When people shift their habitual focus and meanings, there’s no limit on what life can become. A change of focus and a shift in meaning can literally alter someone's biochemistry in minutes.
So take control and always remember: Meaning equals emotion and emotion equals life. Choose consciously and wisely. Find an empowering meaning in any event, and wealth in its deepest sense will be yours today.
Once you create a meaning in your mind, it creates an emotion, and that emotion leads to a state for making your third decision:

Decision 3: What will you do?

The actions you take are powerfully shaped by the emotional state you're in. If you're angry, you're going to behave quite differently than if you're feeling playful or outrageous.
If you want to shape your actions, the fastest way is to change what you focus on and shift the meaning to be something more empowering.
Two people who are angry will behave differently. Some pull back. Others push through.
Some individuals express anger quietly. Others do so loudly or violently. Yet others suppress it only to look for a passive-aggressive opportunity to regain the upper hand or even exact revenge.
Where do these patterns come from? People tend to model their behavior on those they respect, enjoy and love.
The people who frustrated or angered you? You often reject their approaches.
Yet far too often you may find yourself falling back into patterns you witnessed over and over again in your youth and were displeased by.
It’s very useful for you to become aware of your patterns when you are frustrated, angry or sad or feel lonely. You can’t change your patterns if you’re not aware of them.
Now that you’re aware of the power of these three decisions, start looking for role models who are experiencing what you want out of life. I promise you that those who have passionate relationships have a totally different focus and arrive at totally different meanings for the challenges in relationships than people who are constantly bickering or fighting.
It’s not rocket science. If you become aware of the differences in how people approach these three decisions, you’ll have a pathway to help you create a permanent positive change in any area of life.
