For the normal person who has a regular day job, their livelihood depends on the amount of hours they work. Lets look at another real example. Everyday when I go to work, I always see the Doormen and Valets helping new guest to their rooms. Trump is one man and can not be the entire staff he employs in one hotel so he distributes the responsibility throughout his hotel staff. In return, he is not required to be everywhere at once and since the hotel is his brand is collects the biggest check.
With the revenue he brings in, he pays each member of his hotel staff accordingly and keeps the biggest piece of the pie. The doorman and Valet are responsible to come in everyday and do their job while Trump can look into other business ventures.
You do not need a million dollars as a loan to start your own brand. With the help of the internet you can find various ways to get paid. As of 2017, you can even get paid by doing virtually nothing. Some people say that the reason why Trump wanted to invest in home business opportunities is because those types of opportunities allow people to make money from the comfort of their own home.
