Sure, we all want and need currency and money of some sort to live in this current world and immediate existence. But, what about currency, genuine capital and trade medium for what is beyond and the genuine long run that is "beyond the pale of human understanding". Being a successful businessperson in this world is all fine and good, but what about the deeper questions and answers we all have to face? Indeed, we came from thought and energy and ultimately we go to thought and energy. How we use thought and energy as currency counts more than money, even when money buys us water, drink, meals and food in the immediate future, and seemingly all the time. I am saying that reality is more deep than the "almighty dollar", and seeming security in the now. In life, those who are genuinely willing to acknowledge more, get genuinely more.
I remember this story the writer Mike Hernacki wrote about in his book "The Ultimate Secret to Getting Everything You Want" about a day trading seminar he attended before he became a writer. Everything the speaker said to Mr. Hernacki was a blur to him except for the words "I know I am willing to take the risk" when somebody else in the audience asked, "Why do you take the risk in day trading when you can lose everything you gain and then some?" In my reality, the risk is the currency we have to put up to get anything back, and the real loss is not even going for what we really want. And the most genuine loss is giving up getting what we really want completely even if we get up and are able to try again after a few "bad losses" without changing our approach and forging success from doing the opposite of what does not work.
We must take consistent action in order to get what we want and need. It will not be given to us on a "platter of gold" the "easy way". In order to win, we must take consistent action until we do win.
I know "beginning luck" sounds great to those who are in the middle of persistence while the persistence is happening. But to look at things coldly realistically: To have the experience and understanding of what not to do makes a better effort ultimately, and, to be rather ironic, that kind of "losing" makes more legitimate "winning" So, my final advice in this article: Do not quit. Work with different approaches until you do succeed..
